Principal's Message
Welcome to the new school year at St. George! We’ve had a busy start, focusing on important safety drills and preparing for upcoming events that will bring our community together. Please take a moment to review the key updates and mark your calendars for the important dates ahead.
Key Updates
Today, we practiced school-wide fire, earthquake, and lockdown drills for Preschool-8th grade. Teachers are handling these drills carefully to ensure they aren’t scary for students. Feel free to discuss with your child or their teacher.
Tomorrow, Friday, Sept. 6, is First Friday Spirit Day with a noon dismissal for K-8 students. Extended Care will be available.
The K-8 Curriculum Night is on Wed. Sept. 11 at 6:30 PM. This is a mandatory event, starting with a general session followed by grade-level meetings.

Events
PRESCHOOL - FIRST GRADE FAMILIES POTLUCK: Tomorrow, Sept. 6, from 6:00-7:30 PM. Families are invited to socialize and play in the gym (RAIN OR SHINE).
Bring a dish based on your last name:
A-I: Side dish
J-S: Main dish
T-Z: Salads, fruits, desserts
Bring your own beverage/water bottle; Parents’ Club will provide plates and cutlery.
Safe Environment Training: On Saturday, Sept. 14, from 9:00 AM-12:00 PM at St. George School Hall. Volunteers must complete this training before assisting at school.
Reminders/Additional Information
All volunteers need to complete the archdiocese Safe Environment Protocol before helping at school.
