Our first community event. Our first big fundraiser. One Dragon mission.

Every fall, St. George Dragons come together for one of our favorite traditions: Jog-a-Thon!  More than a fundraiser, Jog-a-Thon is our annual celebration of Dragon Pride, community, and coming together for our students. Students, families, teachers, alumni, and friends all play a part in making this day special.  It’s the perfect way to kick off a new school year — with energy, laughter, school spirit, and a shared mission to support every St. George student.

Run. Raise. Celebrate!

Jog-a-Thon is one of the two primary ways St. George families fulfill their $750 annual fundraising commitment, along with the MAGIC Auction. Every family has an opportunity to participate in a way that works for them — by fundraising, donating, volunteering, cheering on our students, or simply showing up and bringing the Dragon spirit!

How to Fundraise

Each St. George family will receive a family fundraising page through Boost My School and share it with friends, relatives, coworkers, and your community.    Every donation — large or small — helps us reach our school-wide goal and supports the students and programs that make St. George special.

Why We Jog

Jog-a-Thon helps make it possible for St. George to provide students with opportunities and experiences beyond the basics of the school day.  Your support helps strengthen the whole child — in faith, service, academics, relationships, creativity, and physical activity.  When you participate in Jog-a-Thon, you're not just helping us reach a fundraising goal.  You're investing in our students and helping our entire school community thrive.

A Dragon Tradition

Jog-a-Thon has been a beloved St. George tradition for generations.  Our celebration brings the whole community together for a day filled with school spirit, movement, laughter, and fun. Students and families gather, cheer one another on, and celebrate what makes St. George such a special place.

 

Our Jog-a-Thon course takes students and families through the Beacon Hill neighborhood before returning to school for a well-earned celebration.  The day includes opportunities for our community to gather, enjoy lunch and treats, celebrate our students, recognize fundraising achievements, and simply have fun together.  It's one of those St. George days you don't want to miss.

Every Dragon Can Make a Difference

There are lots of ways to be part of Jog-a-Thon:

FUNDRAISE: Share your family's fundraising page and invite your community to support St. George.

DONATE : Make a gift to help your fellow Dragons reach their goals and support our school.

VOLUNTEER: Help make the event possible by giving your time, talents, or resources.

CHEER: Come out, encourage our students, and show off your Dragon Pride!

PARTICIPATE: Most importantly, lace up and join us for the celebration!

Jog-a-Thon Prizes 🏅

We love celebrating our Dragons!   Families and students can earn prizes for reaching fundraising milestones, and we also recognize outstanding participation and fundraising throughout the school.

• Fundraising milestone: Every family that raises $375 earns an official Jog-a-Thon T-shirt for each student in the family.

• Additional prizes and school-wide challenges will be announced as we get closer to Jog-a-Thon.  Top Fundraising Families and Top Participation Classes will be honored.
