Hello St. George Families,
School starts in SIX days! Our staff is busy preparing for the kids’ return. We all look forward to a fantastic school year. The theme for this year is St. George MAGIC - We are the World . . . “Rising together as one family, changing the world.”

Mandatory Kindergarten Parent Night at 7:00 PM in the classroom
The teachers will review what the students need to bring to school and explain ways to help with settling kids into school and new routines. Preschool-PreK parents will have some forms to fill out from DCYF as per licensing requirements. No children please as this is for parent information only.
Friday, August 23rd at 8:00PM Free MOVIE Night in the St. George Field. We invite all school families and parishioners to bring their lawn chairs and picnic baskets full of goodies/drinks to an 8:30PM showing of ELEMENTAL by Disney Pixar. Knights of Columbus will have ice cream for sale! The gym gate will open at 7:30PM! (If it rains, we will be in the school hall.)
Sunday Aug. 25th at 11:30-12:30 Preschool – Kinder Play Date.
We invite all our youngest learners and their families for a social hour with donuts/milk. This is a great way to help your child get familiar with new faces and meet classmates before school starts. You parents can start building your connections for the years ahead as a class family at St. George!
K-8 Parents mark your calendars Wed. Sept 11 at 6:30 PM Mandatory Curriculum Night. We meet in the cafeteria for general information and then divide by grade level for more specific curriculum information from the homeroom teachers. Grades 6-8 will have one meeting in the school hall directly following the general information session. Childcare is available on the playground for parents who have no other options.
Child Immunizations: Chris Hanley has emailed parents who have not fulfilled the Child immunization requirement from the state. You must provide a current immunization record signed by your child’s pediatrician that shows your child is fully vaccinated according to the requirements of the DOH.. Your children may not come to school until we have proof of compliance. Please do not wait until the last minute. Contact your pediatrician today and email forms to chanley@saintgeorgeseattle.org
Tuition payments for the 24-25 school year started July 1. We are all on an eleven-month payment cycle: July – May. Go to your FinalSite account for more information. If you have any questions contact Jennifer at jebreo@saintgeorgeseattle.org. Families must remain current to maintain enrollment.
The September Hot Lunch Menu is attached. Full time Preschool/PreK lunch is included in tuition. K-8 students order for the month and payment is due on Friday Aug. 30th. We are on a monthly ordering system. If children do not order hot lunch, they are required to bring a sack lunch from home. We do not provide microwaves for reheating items.
I have attached the St. George uniform policy for K-8. St. George uniform sweatshirt and PE t-shirt sale begins August 22, 2024 - Sept. 18. The link to order is on the attached flyer.
Enjoy the last summer weekend with kids J. School starts August 28 at 7:55AM sharp. Morning Care will open at 7:00 AM. Then it will be all systems go! I’m so proud to be a St. George dragon!
