Summer school at St. George Parish School

Dates: June 22 - July 24, 2026

NO School July 3rd.

We offer a 5-week academic summer school program with certificated teachers and Instructional Assistants. It is not a summer camp. It is an all or none program for students to make the most gains academically.

Summer School registration is open to all students currently in our Preschool-5th Grade. Our school uniform is the required dress code. All students who apply must come with a positive, cooperative attitude ready to learn. Your child’s teacher/principal will supply us with Spring MAP Student Progress Reports along with recommendations for areas of focus during summer school.

St. George Parents will be billed through Finalsite on June 1, 2026.
Daily SACK lunches from home are required for FULL day students.

Half Day Program:

7:30 AM - 12:00PM

7:30 Doors open
8:00-8:10 morning prayer in school hall
8:10-10:00 Math
10:00-10:20 Recess
10:20-12:00 ELA Reading with a focus on fluency and comprehension strategies. Evidence based writing with a focus on mechanics and grammar

Cost: $760/ child

(~$7.00/hour or $150/week)

Full Day Program:

7:30 AM - 5:30 PM

12:00-12:30 SACK Lunches from home
12:30-2:30 Free play. Roller blades, scooters are welcome: HELMETS are mandatory
2:30-3:30 Math, ELA, Science computer games on Chromebooks
3:30-4:00 snack provided
4:00-4:45 Silent Reading with a library book and journaling
4:45-5:30 Free Play

Cost: $1,400/ child

(~$5.83/hour or $280/ week for academics and childcare.)

Enrollment & Next Steps

Enrollment priority is given to current St. George Parish School students. If space is available, we will then offer enrollment to students from other Catholic schools. Students are required to wear the uniform of the school they currently attend.
