Dear St. George Families,
What a fantastic Multicultural Fair on Sunday! We had a full house with families from all four parishes and the school. Everyone enjoyed all the delicious options of cultural foods and drinks made from our own in-house chefs! The music, dance and art shared from all our community members was a spectacular way to learn more about and appreciate the beauty of the various cultures in our community. We are so blessed by the richness of our cultures. God created us to be different AND live as one human family! A heartfelt shoutout to our event leads Maria and Wendel De Vera, MC Jason Fredette and DJ Jason Ballena, Culture and Food Booth leads, remarkable performers, chefs, cashiers, and site crew representing all four parishes! This was the biggest cultural fair yet!
TODAY - LAST PARENT CLUB MEETINGPlease use the Zoom link below to join our last Parent Club meeting, TODAY, May 2 at 7 pm. Everyone is welcome!
Friday, May 3rd will be our May Crowing Mass at 8:30. We invite all children to bring in a flower to honor Mother Mary in our opening procession! The Preschool and PreK students will lead the opening procession.
Friday, May 10th 12:30-2:45 Career Day for grades 4-8th. Get up a jump start on your service hours for
the next school year! We are still looking for volunteers to share their professional journey and explain their roles in the work place. It is important for our students to understand the various career opportunities out there as they study hard at school and aim for high school, college and/or career. Presenters will create 12-minute presentations for students to listen to your story. Are you a small business owner? Do you work in the medical field? Are you in technology? Maybe you are in a service industry. We respect the dignity of all workers and benefit as a society from everyone’s gifts and talents. Click Career Day May 2023 Speaker Intros.mp4 to see all the fun we had last year! Contact our main office if you would like to volunteer.
