Hello St. George Families,

One of the beautiful aspects of St. George is what we call our SECRET SAUCE.

There is great love and respect shared among our students, our parents and our staff. Every day, WE CHOOSE to embrace each individual with God’s love, and honor everyone’s uniqueness and celebrate our commonalities. We see each other as belonging here together. I see that choice to love with the kids when they pop out of the cars in the morning and race towards each other or circle around a friend in need on the playground. I see that choice to love at pick-up when parents embrace each other or help each other out with coaching, carpooling and playdates. Our SECRET SAUCE is our choosing to LOVE and include everyone as part of the St. George family. I see that choice in our alumni who continue to support St. George because of what their time here meant to them. For the staff, this isn’t a job, but a ministry, to share our love and our gifts and talents with our brothers and sisters so as to empower them to share their love and gifts and talents with others for the common good of all.

BEFORE SCHOOL CARE: The students who are coming to school early asked to play in the gym before school verses sitting around the cafeteria. So to honor their request, we will try a new drop off routine to see if it works.

We ask any parent who drops a child off between 7:00AM-7:30 AM to drop the students off by the gym gate, NOT the cafeteria door. Mr. Rittman will meet the students at the gym gates/door.

At 7:30 AM when I am outside for traffic duty, we will open the cafeteria door so students can walk straight through to the gym until the school bell rings. Our gate keepers will switch to supervise that door. The gym gate will remain open during our drop-off time as usual. Thank you for accommodating the switch per the students’ request!
