Dear St. George Families,
Blessed Holy Week! There are many services this week in our parishes and we welcome everyone to our school prayer services, too.Â
Thursday 8:30 AM Seder Meal Prayer service hosted by 8th grade BRING RICE BOWLS
Friday 8:30 AM Live Stations of the Cross hosted by 5th grade.
REPORT CARDS: We are scheduled to send out report cards on Thursday, but there is a glitch that is causing the reports to print the wrong information. It is confusing first and second trimester reporti. We have called PowerSchool tech support to look into it, but we haven’t heard back with a resolution. Once they figure out what is going on, they will work to fix it.
PARENTS in grades 4-8 can go on PowerSchool from home and see Second Trimester Grades in real time. Those ARE CORRECT.
Everyone is invited to our Second Trimester Honor Awards Friday at 2:00 PM in the school hall.
Our Extended care is on its regular schedule for Friday.Â
Annual Day of Service: Registration Open! Model for your children, what it means to serve those in need. Our annual Day of Service is happening on Saturday, April 27, 2024. This fun day brings together over 400 volunteers from our four South Seattle Catholic Parishes as well as Our Lady of Guadalupe and Holy Rosary in West Seattle. We provide a variety of activities for all ages, schedules, and abilities. Volunteers serve all over our region to help support over 25 agencies! Signups at //bit.ly/multi-parishdayofservice . SUMMER SCHOOL: Back by popular demand is our St George Summer School! We are already collecting registration from K-5th grade students in our sister schools. Our summer program is open for any St. George student Preschool-7th grade. See the attached flyer and registration form for more details.
We made it through rainy March! We wish everyone a happy Easter and pray that your vacations are filled with precious family time. When you come back, we’ll have 9 ½ more weeks together with several community events for the whole family.
