News for the Week

For tomorrow. In gratitude, we find peace!

Nov. 23, 2022

Hello St. George Families,

Thank you to the 112 Grandparents/Special Seniors who joined us for lunch today. It was so cute to see so much love spoiled on the kids. I told the students that there is absolutely NO ONE else in the world who loves them more and thinks they are SO PERFECT than their Grandparents and that they are so blessed to be loved by them! We’ll definitely do this again next year!

On the Eve of Thanksgiving, we are preparing for special time with family and friends. I myself have a house to clean tonight and dishes to prepare. Last year, I posted a quote about family on the school cafeteria wall that defines the sentiment of family we hold dear at St. George.

Family isn’t always blood. It’s the people in your life who want you in theirs; the ones who accept you for who you are. The ones who would do anything to see you smile and who love you no matter what!

I am grateful every day for the students who accept me with smiles and are willing to work hard at school. I am grateful to the parents who trust our care and support our endeavors with open hearts. I am grateful for the staff who always give their whole hearts to the students and support each other joyfully. St. George Parish School is a precious family of families who defines what it means to love as Jesus did! I wish all of you, my family, a blessed Thanksgiving Holiday and weekend!
