★ Today each child was sent home a Homework Bag. Please complete all homework this week and return bag on Friday. The book needs to be read every night. Please sign the sheet each night after your child has read the book.
★ Please keep going over flashcards.
★ Remember to continue working on reading forms and February homework.
★ Parents need to be reading to their child at least 20 minutes every night.
★ 100th day of School Party on Friday. Please see below for information regarding 100 day of school party.
- Mass on Friday, February 10th.
- All School Family Math Night: Wednesday February 15th 6:00 to 8:00 in the school hall.
- 100 Day of School Party: Please send your child with 100 small edible items by Friday, February 10th
to put in our 100 Day of School Trail Mix. The items can be brought to school
any time this week. Please have your child count the items. Please complete
the following steps:
1. Everyone Wash Hands
2. Choose item (raisins, chocolate chips, marshmallows, fruit loops, pretzels etc).
3. Put items in groups of 10. Count by 10s after each group is added. For example, 10; 10-20; 10-20-30; Stop once child reaches 100.
4. Put items in ziplock bag and put in folder or backpack. *Items that have not been counted, for example a box of cereal, will not be accepted.




I moved to Seattle in April of 2008 from Helena, Montana
where I worked in preschool for the past 6 years. I am a 2007 graduate of Carroll College with a B.A. in Elementary Education and an endorsement in Special Education.
